In 2020, we decided to plant a sweet corn patch! It was a spur-of-the-moment decision due to the COVID-19 shut down in March, but it's something we both wanted to try. This particular field was grown up and needed some TLC to be able to plant here. Once the land was farmable, we planted our sweet corn patch in mid-April. The growing process was slow and short. We weren't sure our sweet corn patch would make it at times, but thankfully the crop was plentiful! We harvested the sweet corn in early July and hit the local farmer's markets.

This year, we plan to have a Sweet Corn patch in the summer for lovers of locally grown sweet corn and a U-Pick fresh flowers! Stay tuned for more information and updates to come!
