Hi, we're the Peeks!
We are Brady and Anna Peek! We live outside of Athens, Alabama and own/operate a row crop operation. We grow cotton, corn, soybeans, and wheat across Limestone and Lauderdale counties. Brady manages the day-to-day operations on the farm. Anna is a fifth-grade teacher at Athens Intermediate School. Brady graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Agronomy and Soils in the spring of 2015. Anna attended Athens State University here in our hometown to receive her teaching degree in Elementary Education. Most of Brady's hobbies revolve around agriculture, good food, and coffee. We love to travel together! Anna is passionate about education and teaching her students the importance of agriculture and loves spending time shopping around thrift/antique stores dreaming up new ways to decorate our home, and cuddling with our sweet Golden Retriever named Fields. We are welcomed our first baby into the world in July of 2023. His name is Ridgeway and we are thrilled to watch him grow up on the farm!
Brady was born into a farming family. Growing up, he spent many days with his dad in the cotton field and loved farming. Later, his father decided to stop farming and had the opportunity to start a used farm equipment dealership. This left Brady learning the equipment dealership ropes, but the desire to farm was still inside him. In 2010, Brady decided he wanted to try his hand at farming, and the rest is history. In 2016, we started dating! Anna knew absolutely nothing about farming but has learned how to be an asset to the operation with Brady's help. Trust and teamwork are major components of our farming operation.
We want to share a little glimpse of our farming operation with you!
